Odoo is an open, modular business suite in which invoicing, accounting, inventory, purchasing and manufacturing share one database. Instead of re-entering data between programs, one document flows through the system and the accounting follows.
Karachi has importers, distributors, wholesalers and factories spread from Saddar and the industrial areas to the offices of Clifton and Gulshan-e-Iqbal. Many have outgrown spreadsheets, and ERP has become a serious option. This course is for the accounting user who will have to work in the system every day.
The course content is below. Each module adds to the same Odoo database, which means you see how set-up choices, purchases, sales and assets all end up in one set of reports.
You begin by getting a working Odoo database of your own, then shape it into a company that can post correct entries.
Master data is where most ERP errors begin, so this module slows down and does it carefully.
The purchase cycle from order to payment, including the situations that textbooks tend to skip.
The sales cycle from quotation to cash, including the customer behaviour that complicates real receivables.
Transactions that do not touch stock but fill an accountant’s month: assets, prepaid items and accruals.
Discounts for early payment look simple but are easy to configure incorrectly. This module shows how they behave on both sides of the ledger.
A second company proves you can handle production, not only trading. You import data and run a complete manufacturing cycle.
The final module is about trust: proving that the numbers are right and that the period can be closed.
In Odoo, sales, purchases, stock, manufacturing and accounting work from one shared database. A customer invoice may start as a quotation; a vendor bill may start as a purchase order; the journal entries are created from those documents. Understanding that chain is the key to using Odoo Accounting well.
We teach the chain, step by step, and point to the official Odoo documentation for version-specific details, since screens and options change between releases.

Associate Charted Certified Accountant (ACCA)
Saad Nadeem is an ACCA-qualified consultant who has implemented accounting software in companies, and teaches Odoo from that practical angle rather than from a menu list.
Recorded lessons with a one-month plan, so you can fit practice around work or university and repeat any scenario until the accounting entry makes sense.
Two company scenarios mean you practise both a merchandising workflow and a production workflow, and see how the same accounting principles apply to each.
Each lesson explains the debit and credit logic behind the screen, so your knowledge stays useful when the interface or the version changes.
Odoo covers a lot of ground, so we narrow it to what an accounting user needs and teach that thoroughly. The explanation of the accounting comes first; the clicks come second.
Odoo Accounting is a useful skill for accounts staff in companies that run, or plan to run, an ERP.
By the end, you will have taken a company in your own Odoo database from activation to closing reports. That includes master data, payables and receivables, assets and prepayments, discounts, a manufacturing example and reconciliation.
A certificate of completion is issued when you finish. It is Accountech’s record of your training, not an official Odoo certification or a degree. Pair it with your practice work to make it count.
You can demonstrate what you learned in several practical ways.
With ERP software, claims are cheap and explanations are valuable. If you can trace a transaction from document to journal entry to report, you give an employer a reason to trust your skills.
Karachi offers a lot of IT training, but much of it targets developers. For Odoo Accounting, check that the course is aimed at users, includes a full scenario and gives you a trial database to practise in.
Use WhatsApp for questions. Related courses include Zoho Books and Advanced Excel.
A quick checklist for choosing an Odoo accounting course:
Fee: Rs 3,000. Planned duration: one month. Level: beginner to advanced.
The Udemy edition has 76 lectures (about 5 hours 37 minutes), 17 downloadable resources and lifetime access on computer, mobile and TV. You practise on a free Odoo trial in your own database and receive a certificate of completion at the end.
One way to pace the month: set-up and master data first, then purchases and sales, then assets, prepayments and discounts, and finally the manufacturing scenario with closing reports. To ask about fees or get started, see the contact page or contact us.
Delivery is online and self-paced. People in Karachi can study around work or classes: watch a lesson, repeat the steps in your trial database and continue the next day.
Odoo knowledge can support a range of finance and operations roles.
Outcomes vary, and nothing here is a guarantee of work or income.
Because Odoo is used across the world, what you learn applies beyond Pakistan. Remote or overseas opportunities exist but are never assured; they depend on your track record and communication.
Karachi’s economy rests on trade and manufacturing, and larger businesses there are often the first to adopt ERP. Accounts staff who already understand the order-to-cash and purchase-to-pay flows are useful when such a system is introduced.
We cannot promise a job, but the course gives you practical experience and a scenario you can explain to an employer.
Tip: keep a notes file of the settings you chose in each module. Later lessons depend on them.
